DIY Invite Designers Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get a sample of my Invite Design?
Due to the very high volume of sample requests we receive, we do charge for samples. Simply select a quantity of 1 at the very start of Invite Designer, once you've completed your design, add to the basket and check out.
Where do I change the quantity so I can order more Invite Designer Invitations?
At the very start of Invite Designer, where you can see all the different styles, just above the select style button, there is a quantity box, change the quantity from 1 to the amount you need and then press select.
How do I assemble the invitations?
Assembly instructions can be found next to each style at the start of Invite Designer.
Do you offer a printing service?
Yes. Our printing service costs 20p per insert, we print in black ink which gives the best results. You must also ensure you pay for a proof, which costs £2.50 per set of wording, so for day and evening wordings, the proof charges will be £5.00 + 20p per insert printed.
How do I upload my personalised wording?
If you are choosing our printing service, or have purchased an item with personalised wording, you can upload your wording at the very end of the checkout process, after you have entered your address details. Alternatively, you can simply email it to us, quoting the name on your order to sales@pureinvitation.co.uk
Why do you charge for proofs?
Due to the time involved in formatting wordings. We will send one reproof free of charge if changes are required.
How will I receive my proof?
We email proofs on a pdf document so you can see exactly how your wording will look on the size of insert and font style you've chosen.
Which of the styles can accommodate additional inserts?
The Butterfly Wraps, Pockets, Pocketfolds and Gatefolds will all hold additional inserts. The Layered Square envelope will easily hold an extra insert
How do I order additional inserts?
Add the number you need at the start of the style you've chosen then simply repeat the step by step process but don't choose an option at any of the stages except the inserts. You can print your own or choose our printing service, be sure to pay for an extra proof though.
How much ribbon is sent and is it cut to length?
For Butterfly wraps, Pocketfolds and Layered Squares we allow 60cm per invitation, fLong Layers are 45cm, Gatefolds are 55cm, which is ample to achieve the tied effect we show in the galleries. We send you the total amount which you will need to cut to length. If you are tying a complete bow then you will need extra ribbon which can be ordered here: Rolls of ribbon
You don't have my ribbon colour, do I have to order from you?
No, you can choose as much or as little as you want through Invite Designer.

The layered square designs make popular menu choices as do the gatefold designs.
