Real Wedding: Lucy & Jake

Pure Invitation couple Lucy and Jake got married at the beautiful Dodford Manor, Daventry in August this year surrounded by friends and family.

The couple chose the Skyler collection for their invitations and on the day stationery. They first ordered their day and evening invitations in matt olive with a black and gold foil print, and then nearer the big day they ordered their on the day stationery and signage including printed menus and name cards for the tables.

They also opted for signage from the Skyler collection, choosing a 3D raised acrylic welcome sign as well as an order of the day acrylic sign and some smaller table signs.

We asked Lucy and Jake a few questions about their big day…

What was your favourite part of the day?

Seeing each other standing at the end of the aisle – such a perfect moment!

Did anything unexpectedly happen that added to the celebrations?

We had a robin fly into the ceremony barn during signing the registry, it made us think of loved ones that weren’t with us on the day!

Any words of wisdom to other couples about to get married?

Try and enjoy it, and remember why you’re getting married. Break down each part of planning into smaller pieces to not feel overwhelmed by how much needs doing!
