Pure Invitation is the UK’s no.1 for bespoke, stylish wedding stationery. Established fourteen years ago the business has shown impressive growth year on year and is now recruiting for an experienced Artworker to join the friendly team.

The position is being recruited as a six-month fixed-term contract, but there is potential for it to be extended / made permanent at the end of the contract.

We’re looking for someone talented who works quickly to help us get through one of our peak periods of workload. You will be responsible for creating our customer’s dream invitations and be an integral part of the creative team producing high-quality artwork.

Other responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Senior Designer, you will handle artwork from customers’ proofs to delivery; maintaining an excellent eye for detail at all times.

Produce accurate artwork under pressure and to tight deadlines. Supporting the rest of the business when required and always maintaining a flexible approach.

An eye for design, colour, layout, and typography are imperative. The ability to think creatively will always be welcomed.

Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the design/artwork process and production techniques specifically for high-quality print.

Complete multiple projects simultaneously, planning own time (with guidance) so work is delivered in line with critical paths.

Follow creative direction and supply artwork-ready files for print.

Be a team player able to work and communicated effectively with other team members.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.

Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Software (InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator)

A CV and portfolio that displays your experience in artworking.

A strong eye for design, colour, layout, and typography are imperative.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent at multi-tasking.

Able to use own initiative when working on proofs, showing capability to make competent decisions about design layout.

Strong communication and team working skills are essential as you will be working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business.

Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.

Agile and good at being reactive. Able to re-prioritise work quickly if needed.

Proactive and a self-starter.
